On October 12th, starting at 2:30 PM, we as the Stadtteilgewerkschaft Solidarisch in Stahlhausen invite you to a joint event about the Jobcenter at Q1 (Halbachstr. 1, 44793 Bochum). Below is the info text in English (-> German -> Farsi -> Kurmanji -> Arabic):

Are you having trouble with the Jobcenter – for example, with covering your rent? You’re not alone! Many people in Bochum are facing similar issues. At our information event, we want to come together, share experiences, and find out what our rights are when dealing with the Jobcenter – and how we can enforce them.

Alongside open discussions about ongoing problems, we have invited various experts who will be available at themed tables to offer advice on common conflicts and explain what rights you have. While we cannot provide individual consultations during the event, if you’re still unsure afterwards about how to resolve your issues with the Jobcenter on your own, we’d be happy to arrange a consultation appointment with you.

At the end of the event, we also want to brainstorm ideas about how to not only solve problems on a legal level, but also explore ways to bring about fundamental change—so that everyone receives the financial support they need.
